Concept

This concept design features a fusion of traditional Japanese style and pop culture.
The character's hairstyle has been given volume, and is arranged after the Japanese traditional "Binsogi" or cutting of the side-locks to signify adulthood.
The clothing and accessories are absolutely bursting with a Japanese charm motif: a red and white kimono-style dress, sakura cherry blossom hair ornaments and sash resembling that of a Maiko (apprentice Geisha), a skirt themed after Mt. Fuji, and a pair of sushi shoes.
Orbs signifying the red sun of the Japanese flag adorn with an inlaid design, and the sash and underside of the dress are printed with a striking gold to add that final touch of glamour.
